I remember back to my CYO dances. I was an awkward middle schooler, and all the girls couldn't wait to slow dance with a boy. I was so nervous! It looked painfully awkward at first. Some kids looked comfortable and nuzzled together, others slowly moved like Frankenstein (HAHA). I guess they were keeping room for the holy spirit :)
