I'll Be Home for Christmas

The anticipation of my kids coming home holds that same excitement as a snowstorm forecasted when I was a kid.
 
I went out and picked up more things from the grocery story.
 
Made a batch of brownies so the house smelled cozy.
 
Created the mental checklist of things that we wanted to do in the 7 days we had together: movies, shopping, cooking, running a race, decorating and a trip to NYC.

The nest is full, and our dog is getting more attention than ever.
 
Suitcases and bags are overflowing with stuff, and laundry is still hanging to be put away.
 
And I couldn't be happier!
