Heard It Through The Grapevine

I can clearly remember being in 10th grade chemestry when I heard someone say,
"I heard it through the grapevine" to the person sitting next to them.
 
And started talking about  about a party happening that weekend.
 
I giggled to myself, and of corse the song started playing in my head.
 
"Don't you know 
I heard it through the grapevine"
 
It's still the way we hear about the latest happenings.
 
Some things never change.
