Walk of Life
Oil on board
8x8 with balck floater frame.
I just returned from Maine. It was our annual "opening weekend."
Plant the flowers, clean the deck furniture, get the watering system up and running, weed the flower beds, cut the grass, and hang the bunting on the front porch.
Just in time for the summer season.
My brother hung the hummingbird feeder in the same spot our dad had it - directly out the front window.
My first morning there, I opened the shade, and wouldn't you know it, a tiny green hummingbird was sitting on the branch looking in!
As we worked they would come and go.
It felt like they were just as happy to see us as we were to see them.
They have their own cadance and language while they build their homes and gather food for their young.
Just like us.
"You do the walk yeah,
you do the walk of life"
